Just a few minutes ago a man was killed and several others injured after an explosive device he was carrying detonated outside the Stabroek Market area, just opposite the 'Dread Shop'.

After the a few persons where charged with treason recently the Guyana Police Force has reportedly asked the International Criminal Police Organisation (INTERPOL) to help track down ex-GDF lieutenant George Lashley and Keith Ferrier, who are said to be key players in the alleged ‘terror’ attacks.Police believe that Lashley, Ferrier and Thierens were the brains behind the torching of the Health Ministry buildings, the arson attempt at the Supreme Court, and the attacks on the Brickdam Police Station and the Ruimveldt Police Outpost……. Is there a link between what happened today and the previous attacks against the state?….
