How come the opposition media in Guyana gave very little coverage to a fraud case involving U.S based Guyanese Lawyer Trevor Rupnarain?

Rupnarain, also a registered real estate broker was among 17 defendants charged in a mortgage rescue fraud case during May last year.
Federal authorities alleged that Rupnarain and the other co-accused were contacted by distressed owners seeking to save their homes from foreclosure, and they responded by stripping $3 million in equity from 26 properties, leaving the owners worse off than they were to begin with.
