It appears as though the opposition Alliance for Change (AFC) is carrying out its 2011 presidential campaign on the Stabroek News' font page and the letter pages of the local daily newspapers. Over the past week this party has found itself on that paper's front page in stories described by many as being not worthy of the prominence it received. Persons have seen this an attempt by Stabroek News to foist the AFC on its readership and to make up for the party's inability to attract the attention of the public. So far all the activities organized by this group have attracted very poor turn out.
