While the PPP/C and AFC have already submitted names for allocation of parliamentary seats a source within the PNC led APNU has revealed that there is disagreement over the formula to be used in deciding how the 26 seats obtained by that grouping will be allotted. The PNC, being the only formidable member with an existing constituency is demanding 20 of those seats while the other 6 will be divided between the WPA, JFAP, NFA and ACDA. This proposal failed to find favour with the WPA and JFAP since they claimed to have contributed considerable resources to the campaign. The group members are to meet at Congress Place tomorrow to try to bring closure to this issue once again.
