According to newspaper reports local beverage company DDL announced that it made $1.9B in pre-tax profits in 2009, yet this is what they gave shareholders of the company.

  1. Despite their huge profits one need to evaluate iits effects on the society. Dr. Jagdeo once described alcohol consumption as one of the ills of the society. Are they conducting any programmes to facilate the reintegartion of alcoholics back in the society because their profit would come at their demise.

  2. This is one cheap ass company...a plastic, a drink and some sort of rum and yet they are proud to announce that their profit increase to $1.9B,and this is what they gave their shareholders, these people helped build that profit...this is just disgraceful for a high profile company to be this low....

  3. A company which all that profit and gave their shareholders a plastic, soft drink and a rum should be a shame to say that they made that profit. These are people who have shares in your company they should have been treated to something of more standard.
