Government official's home targeted again.

The Meadow Brook Gardens home of presidential advisor, Odinga Lumumba was once again firebombed resulting in minor damage to the southern side of the building. The incident which took place in the wee hours of this morning is the third such attack against the state official who lives a stone throw away from APNU executive member Basil Williams.

Investigators were told that the guard saw a man running away from the scene shortly after the two channa-bombs (Molotov cocktails) were hurled at the building. No one was at home at the time of the attack but persons in the security intelligence community told Liveinguyana that agents of the opposition APNU recruited several persons, including U.S involuntary re-migrants (deportees) and some known criminals to wage a campaign of terror and it is believed that this group is behind the series of attacks. During the 2011 elections campaign several of these persons functioned as bodyguards for high ranking APNU officials including its presidential and prime ministerial candidates David Granger and Rupert Roopnarine.
