Despite talks of seeking to forge national unity, APNU unable to demonstrate that 'unity' truly exists within it.

Despite talks about seeking to forge national unity etc the PNC/R led APNU is still unable to demonstrate that 'unity' truly exists within this grouping as there's yet to be any agreement on a formula to be used for the allocation of parliamentary seats among its members.

Also the body's prime ministerial candidate remains unnamed and undecided despite a promise made since earlier this year to name an individual. Several persons were being touted for this position but the nomination of the WPA's Dr Rupert Roopnarine, failed to find favour with some PNCR members of the coalition.

The PNC's last experiment with coalition politics led to the TUF's decimation
