The Guyana Press Association has no credibility to pronounce on the CNS 6 suspension

The way in which a section of the local media fraternity or the opposition media as it is rightly called has dealt with the suspension of CNS 6 TV station following another serious infringement of its broadcast license is cause for concern. The Guyana Press Association is merely a grouping of opposition aligned media operatives which does the bidding of its political masters and it cannot be expected to pronounce impartially on such matters.

This is why there's a need for a real media grouping which is truly representative of the entire media landscape in Guyana, independent, credible and is prepared to represent the interest of not just one section of the media landscape.
