Dr. Aubrey Armstrong on Monday announced that he would not be accepting nomination for the presidential candidate of the Peoples National Congress Reform because of lingering doubt over his residency-qualification to contest the general election.

“It is with a deep sense of humility that I respectfully have to announce that I would be unable to accept nomination by party groups to be the presidential candidate of the PNCR for the upcoming general elections in Guyana,” said Armstrong in a statement.

  1. Dr.Armstrong in my opinion realize that being with the P.N.C is like flogging a dead horse and it will be a waste of time running...he would have just made himself a public spectacle.... so he pulled the residence trick...you made the correct choice Dr.Aubrey Armstrong
