A simulation exercise conducted yesterday in the vicinity of the Georgetown Prison by the Joint Services caused rumours of a Jail break to circulate. The word around then was that 16 or 60 prisoners had escaped and even persons in the diaspora were reporting such a scenario. This caused the Joint Services to issue a press release which sought to calm the fears of many.
