American Airlines cancels T&T flights due to crime innduced curfew

Due to the 9pm-5am curfew in Trinidad and Tobago, American Airlines has canceled flight#1819 from Miami to Port of Spain, scheduled to arrive at Piarco International Airport at 11:05pm.

A statement from the airline said in addition, flight#1818, scheduled to depart Port of Spain at 6:50am on Tuesday has also been cancelled.

American Airlines said it will continue to monitor the situation and make operational determinations as necessary.

It stated, “We regret any inconvenience to our customers caused by these cancellations, however, the safety of our passengers and employees is our number one priority. Passengers who were booked on these flights are asked to contact our reservations department at 821-6000.”
