The dunces at Kaieteur News were too busy using the Minister's mistake to protract their whorishness or they would've noticed this..........

Kaieteur News being true to their anti-government nature jumped on a mistake made by Minister Jennifer Webster in which she incorrectly posited that each Laptop to be distributed as part of the "One Laptop Per Family" programme will cost GY$295,000 instead of the US$295 figure.
If those idiots at Kaieteur News actually paid any attention to what was said in its entirety instead of using the Minister's mistake as an opportunity to protract their whorishness then they would've duly noted the error after apply simple Mathematical calculations.
Along with the error, the Minister also said that 27,000 Laptops were imported at a total cost of GY$1.8B. This means that when GY$1.8B is divided by 27,000, each Laptop cost somewhere in the vicinity of GY$66,666.66 or US$230+.
Any newspaper worth its salt would've duly noted such an error. But what do you expect from a newspaper that published 122 misleading articles over a 3 month period?

  6. KN is a big embarrassment to the accurate media places in Guyana. They are anti Government in nature but have no accuracy and credibility in their stories published. Such a shame on the management, just the other day they published a story that someone was “killed dead”...I was like what the hell! These people need some serious training and a whole restructuring of their attitudes and work ethics in which I highly doubt they have any in which they follow.
