The Customs Anti Narcotics Unit, Guyana Revenue Authority and officials of John Fernandes wharf are collaborating to find the suspects behind the bust.
Two persons were arrested in connection with the pre-dawn discovery on the wharf. John Fernandes Limited refused to comment on this latest ganja bust at its facility.
Initial information suggests that the marijuana might have come from either Jamaica or St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
