Modernized Skeldon Sugar Factory

Peoples National Congress Reform’s presidential candidate, David Granger on Wednesday announced that he would privatize GUYSUCO and GUYOIL if he wins the next general election.

Granger made the announcement at the second in a series of luncheon-interactions with the presidential candidates organised by the Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association (GMSA).

“I don’t think there is any place for state-ownership of those enterprises anymore in Guyana, certainly not under David Granger,” he said.

  2. The is just another display of the stupidity that lies within the PNC Reform, the Government own companies is the most certain way of many Guyanese having jobs and not having to worry about being laid off.The Government own company Guy Oil has show positive for the mini bus operator and commuter when there has been a rise in fuel prices at the private Gas station Guy Oil has the lowest prices on the Market to suite the vehicles operator pocket,as for Guysuco show profit for the country since there is no overseas company running the company to take the profits out of Guyana.

  5. There is no way that the Guyanese people will sit back and allow the PNC to sell out Guyana and put the hard work of the Guyanese people down the drains

  6. Granger needs to go back on his puppet string because he’s getting out of order. What in the world wrong with some people, they have no sort of decision making skill and knowledge and want position that heavily entails doing so. Smh!
