Irate passengers throng REDjet offices seeking refund

Scores of REDJet customers turned up this morning at several travel agencies and the company's Avenue of the Republic office seeking refunds and expressing their frustration following the company's announcement of a cessation of all its services with immediate effect. The decision which is said to be as a result of the airline's tenuous financial position, has left scores of passengers stranded.
One woman was overheard loudly explaining to a customer service representative that her 4 year old Daughter is left stranded in Trinidad since the child was booked to return to Guyana via REDjet.
Some passengers demanded that the airline make alternative arrangements so that they will be able to travel.
Another group of passengers that were scheduled to leave Guyana yesterday said that when they turned up at the CBJ airport it was only then they were told that the airline is no longer in operation.

After taking the names and contact information of the irate customers a representative of the company told them that the management was currently in a meeting and that they will be contacted as soon as it is finished.
