PPP announces prospective presidential candidates

The People’s Progressive Party has been advancing its discussions on the issue of choosing a Presidential Candidate for the 2011 General and Regional Elections.




According to the Party, at the last meeting of the Executive Committee, five persons were identified as having expressed
interest and have been nominated. These are Moses Nagamootoo, Ralph Ramkarran, Clement Rohee, Gail Teixeira and Donald Ramotar.

  3. this is a list of five capable and well educated people that if anyone of them get the chance to be leader of this country they will lead guyana to where it needs to be.

  4. when selecting a person or group of person's to be consider as the one of the presidential candidate of a country you need to have a group of people that is well educated,sound minded,have not criminal back ground and these people must also be physical and capably fit to run the country if anyone out of the group is to be selected.

The PPP/C is a party of great leaders from the time that the party has been establish to this day.The party continue to show good leadership over the years with it selection of great leader and is showing the continued selection with the five member that have been selected for presidential candidate for the 2011 general election.

All the above mentioned individuals have served the Party and the country as a whole with a host of contributing services that aided in Guyana's growth today… All the best

  7. what we need in guyana is experiance and not experiment.is there anyone in the 5, more experiance than moses? he was there in hot times,soft times,thick,thin,hard,soft you name it he was there and still is.
