Better equipment & more qualified personnel often results in the overwhelming of Gov't medical institutions.

The critics of the government have taken to using a few mishaps at Georgetown Hospital to vent their spleen at the entire health system in Guyana. They do this whilst failing to highlight the many positives which have taken place and without giving any consideration to the overwhelming of these public medical institutions owing the availability of better equipment, drugs as well as qualified personnel at them.

No doubt overwhelming has impacted the services provided at these institutions. But surely these critics cannot be so short sighted to not understand that the completion of the new in-patient unit will remedy the overcrowding etc. Or is that that they are so blinded by hatred for the government that they cannot foresee such an occurrence?

  1. I think that the hatred that these critics have for the govt that they cannot see the occurrences which is taking place right in front of their eyes. And this new out patient will help the overcrowding and that it also give all student the govt sent to Cuba to be nurses and doctors to serve their country.
