Opposition snubs religious community

-absent at World Inter-faith Harmony Week commencement ceremony

Even as the the two main opposition parties speak of 'nation building' and wanting to foster 'national unity' their actions speak to the contrary. No representatives were present from the APNU and AFC as the inter-religious community held a ceremony to mark the commencement of UN designated World Inter-faith Harmony Week at the National Cultural Center today.
The well attended event was adressed by the President, Donald Ramotar and various speakers representing the different denomination of religions practiced in Guyana.
